Five steps you go through again and again, at your own pace.

1. Pick your starting level
Start at A0 if you are completely new, or jump in at B1 or B2 if you already work in English. You can switch at any time.

2. Take one lesson at a time
Every lesson has a clear topic and combines vocabulary, grammar, reading and listening. You listen along with the audio and practise what you have just seen.

3. Speak and write in English
In the dialogue lessons you practise a conversation with your AI coach. Write an email or an essay, or record your answer out loud, and you get feedback back.

4. Review what you are about to forget
Your word list brings older words back at the right moment, and after each chapter there is a review lesson with a quiz.

5. Work towards your goal
The skills you need at work or on the IELTS exam — reading, listening, writing and speaking — are part of every lesson. Your overview shows which level you can handle now.

Questions about learning itself
How do I know which level suits me?
Look at the first lessons of a course. If you understand almost everything, go one level up. If you understand very little, go one level down. With a subscription you have access to every level.
Do I have to practise every day?
No, but small steps work better than one long session a week. The daily micro-exercise only takes a few minutes.
Can I study offline?
You can download a lesson as a PDF and go through it on paper or on your screen. For the audio and the exercises you need an internet connection.
How long does it take to finish a level?
That differs per person and depends on how much time you put in. Each course has dozens of lessons, so count on a few months per level if you practise a few times a week.
